The 11th International Conference on Optical Terahertz Science and Technology (OTST 2026) will bring together researchers from around the world to present and discuss the most recent advances in terahertz (THz) research, ranging from fundamental science to cutting edge developments in THz technology. The conference will be hosted by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, USA 12–17 April 2026.
The conference will consist of Plenary, Keynote, Invited talks, and poster presentations given by international researchers engaged in cutting edge work in the field of terahertz science and technology.

If you’d like to submit an abstract to give a talk please visit the Abstract Submission page. Abstract submission is separate from conference registration.
For guests staying at the conference venue, JB Duke Hotel, parking is included. For those staying off-site the parking fee is $15 USD per day. The conference venue is 20 minutes from the Raleigh-Durham (RDU) International Airport. OTST 2026 is organized by co-Chairs Willie J. Padilla (Duke University), and M. Hassan Arbab (Stony Brook University). The Technical Committee consists of Hou-Tong Chen from Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Michael Johnston from the University of Oxford.
